Skulls and flowers are a classic combo that always looks great! This design is done in black and grey, the shading is done with stippling to give it a textured look. Even though the flower itself only takes up about a third of the space, it dominates the composition as it has the highest contrast. I use this trick frequently to direct the viewers eye to the part of the tattoo I want them to see first. It’ll be even more pronounced once that redness has gone down!
