I can draw a skull with my eyes closed at this point but a realistic bee was a daunting challenge! I’m very pleased with this black and grey hand piece overall, the hexagon background is really striking, and keeping white highlights only on the bee makes it stand apart from the skull.
The shadows in the eyes I think need revisiting to make them darker but I didn’t want to risk overworking the skin. In situations like this I prefer to offer the client a second session at no charge to make sure we get it perfect. I
It’s best to wait at least 4 weeks between sessions so the skin is fully healed. We’ll be able to see if I’ve blended the top part into the existing tattoos and It’ll be a good opportunity to do any necessary touch ups too!
